Il rosmarino prostrato è una varietà di rosmarino (Rosmarinus officinalis) caratterizzata da un portamento strisciante e tappezzante. Le sue foglie sono simili a piccoli aghi, di colore verde scuro e coriacee al tatto. Questa pianta produce piccoli fiori blu o viola lungo i rami durante la stagione della fioritura, che di solito avviene in primavera o inizio estate. Il rosmarino prostrato è noto per il suo aroma fresco e pungente, simile a quello delle altre varietà di rosmarino.
È una pianta perenne resistente, adatta a climi caldi e secchi e a terreni ben drenati.
